With the tech industry’s rapid growth and countless employment opportunities, finding a job should be simple, right? This is not the case for many people. Several tech academies are attempting to address this issue. Refugeeforce aims for the group of people that have a particularly tough time finding employment.

After discovering Refugeeforce and their operations, we could immediately tell that this contemporary and fresh concept is something that Digiphi desired to be a part of. RefugeeForce aims to educate and upskill refugees by offering Salesforce training and career coaching – equipping them with the tools, skills, and the network to thrive in the Salesforce ecosystem. What we appreciate the most about Refugeeforce’s story is their vision; a world where talent is globally recognized, and opportunities are equally accessible.

As an official Recruitment Partner of Refugeeforce, we work together to create an unparalleled environment for asylum seekers to learn digital skills and technical leadership. Together, we are on a mission to create a more diverse, inclusive, and integrated community of Salesforce professionals.

It is not common to support a local non-profit after just having launched Digiphi. However, as Digiphi’s core value is happiness, it felt obvious to support Refugeeforce in achieving their goals and bring a little more happiness to the Salesforce ecosystem.

In December 2019, Digiphi hired one of the most promising program participants: Dana Zandaki. Dana was the first program alumna to pass the Salesforce Administrator Exam. While at Digiphi, Dana has gone on to achieve her Salesforce Platform App Builder, Pardot specialist, Sales Cloud consultant and scrum master credentials while working on many interesting projects with commercial and non-profit organizations.

Born in Amsterdam in 2018, RefugeeForce aims to create a global movement in helping refugees launch their careers in the Salesforce ecosystem. We aim to change the perceptions of employers, organizations, and the public on the experience and skills refugees bring with them to build new lives in their host country.
